Today’s been… Fun. Apparently it sounded like a good day to test my airbags with a fully loaded car. Averie, Lasairiona, Lewis and I are fine – no broken bones (though I thought I had!), just some bruising and soreness and I’m in for overnight monitoring of the baby (again, he seems fine!)
The car might not have survived but she kept us all safe. The CRPD and CRFD and all of the hospital staff have been awesome – bringing toys and drinks. Sarah and Susan came to the rescue with car seats and Elisabeth brought food. Nana and Grandad came to help with transport and Aaron beat the ambulance and proceeded to scare everyone with his Facebook status.
I wanted a new car, but this wasn’t quite the method I had in mind…. Thanking God for watching over us all today!
