by I’ve been slacking at posting updates the last few days… Big sister Averie and Nana flew in for a visit and have been keeping me busy!
AJ has had a temp here and there, but it seems to mostly be environmental. That said, he has what seems to be a UTI at this point, so we are waiting to find out more about it and how they will need to treat it. Other than that, the goal is to continue to try to get him to gain weight. Right now he weighs 7 lbs even, and his birth weight was 6 lbs 14 oz. The hope is to get him to gain a little more before planning to take the tube out again.
It’s been extremely refreshing seeing Averie this weekend… And it’s been nice to have nana here to stay and hang back with AJ while I took Averie out and about here and there for a few hours at a time. We picked her up some new winter clothes and hit up the Lego store and build a bear in the KOP mall… And she even was lucky enough to be invited to a birthday party here locally that she was able to attend. She’s told me she really likes it here and is sad to go back tomorrow. I’m definitely sad that she’s heading back home too, but she needs to get back to school, and I’m sure Aaron is missing her as well.
Other than that, please just keep praying! We still have a long ways to go!
