Well… at least the view out the window here is nice!

The past 24 hours AJs had an elevated heart rate and been snotty/junky. We thought we were going to make it through without a trip to the hospital, but this morning he was a mess and at one point was cranked up to 10 Liters of oxygen (his norm has been 1) and getting bagged, so we took a quick ambulance ride and in we came.

He’s back down to 4 Liters now, and seems to be feeling mostly better. But he’s exhausted – tired enough to fall asleep during his echo even. Lots of prayers that he’s able to rest and recover quickly! We were looking forward to seeing the new hospital side now that it was open, but this wasn’t quite what I had in mind.
