Nursery

We’ve got everything sorted for in the nursery, nothing more that we can think of to do. I keep walking in there and looking around trying to come up with anything that we might have missed and walk back out.   Aaron finished up all the artwork, and the rooms been scrubbed down pretty good.  I do need to eventually put one of the crib pads on the mattress and probably put a different clean sheet on it just because that ones been on there for a while and probably managed to get a bit dusty… but other than that…  I don’t have any ideas!!

I’m sure it won’t take long to fill that picture frame!  The cube unit right now is storing/hiding lots of baby essentials – diapers and bibs and burp cloths galore!  Artwork on the wall is all done by Aaron.  He gets a serious gold star!  I think it looks awesome!

One corner of the room – the closet is packed, the dresser is packed.  And the diaper bag is ready to go to the hospital (I need to move that to the car!)  Once again, Aaron gets credit for making the cute letters on the shelf above the dresser.  And we’ll find pictures for the frame in no time at all I’m sure!

I should have pulled the curtains back – the closet is jam packed with clothes – theres two rods in there that are FULL!  Plus I have two underbed storage totes under the crib holding clothes that are 3 months plus.  Spoiled little girl 🙂

Rocking chair that my dad refinished a long time ago…  Aaron recovered the seat, Jaime from work made the blanket.  The pink ottomon in front of the chair is full of little toys 🙂

And of course the crib…  We hung the comforter up on the wall since she can’t use it right away anyway.  I’m much happier with the curtains as they are now than I was with the tie up shades I had.  Many kudos to Heather and her mom for altering those into valances for me!!
